Focused Vintage wants to pay tribute to the unknown artists of the world. I got into vernacular photography through my parents, sitting through 4 hour auctions, waiting in the car on the side of the road for them to come back from yard sales, and frequenting the many many New York thrift stores. So, i would like to thank my mom and dad, and all the people of the Chelsea flea market (my second family) for giving me my "home education."
Focused Vintage will be at the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene, Brooklyn starting April 2009. Please stop by say hi, rifle through photos, and just have a good time.
